Some months ago, I mentioned on my Facebook, that I will be representing Hungary during European Fashion Accelerator program, which will be held in November in Slovakia. I can finally share with you more information!
What is EFA porogram?
European Fashion Accelerator, organized by Unique One Events is “(…) a unique international start-up for young talent focused on the creative design and fashion design in Central Europe. The educational part of the project is also determinated for young stage designers, choreographers, jewelers, photographers, graphic designers, marketing specialists and PR managers. The motto of the project is ‘let’s CREATE our future’, which fulfills the educational intent of the project”.

This program gives an opportunity for graduates from the Central European arts industry to acquire the necessary knowledge and practical experience to successfully transition from a study environment to a real business. This is defnietly something, which fresh graduates are in need. Not only design skills are important in the fashion industry but also sense of business – in the end of the day, young desigenrs should be able to sell their collections.

During Košice Fashion Week, we’ll see collections from selected Polish, Hungarian, Czech and Slovakian designers. This few days event will be also filled with discussion pannels, workshops and lectures. It will be also perfect opportunity to talk to professionals from fashion industry and get deeper knowledge about fashion markets in our neigbour countries.
